About Us

Roe Body Shop collision repair

The more things change, the more they stay the same. That old adage can certainly be used to describe the evolution of Roe Body Shop since its beginning.

Consider that our roots have always been firmly planted in Roeland Park, Kansas. The business was first established in October 1969 at 5033 Roe, near the site of what is now the Quik Trip store. Originally, the business was engaged only in automotive body repair work and any mechanical repairs were referred to Glenn’s Auto Service, which, at that time, was located at the northeast intersection of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Buena Vista Drive, also in Roeland Park. Early on, however, the owners of those two businesses wisely foresaw that they could better meet their customers needs by combining operations and, consequently, the two companies merged in the early 1970’s. In 1979, continuing growth dictated a larger facility and the company moved to its present address of 4715 Roe Parkway in the Roeland Industrial Park. Only four years later, the building was further expanded to meet demand.

Over time, two additional locations were added-one in Raytown, Missouri and the other in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. These, however, were subsequently sold to members of their management teams so the company could focus on serving its core clientele in Northeast Johnson County.

What has not changed, and will always remain the same, is the founding philosophies of Roe Body Shop. We’re proud to offer quality workmanship and superior service. We would welcome to opportunity to show you. Those principles still guide the second generation of company management as it prepares to meet tomorrow's challenges.
